Saddlebags
#1

I added a set of leather saddlebags to my 18 vv. Now I still have the storage area for a overnight or weekend bag. Looks pretty good too...

Thanks Vector. Was not hard to do, it just took finding the right type of mounting brackets, and the courage to drill holes in the vv?

How did you attach, are they removable? Looks better than i would have imagined. Good job

Are the attachment points really robust? or do you also have a (hidden) redundant way to keep it attached? (as a last resort)
Because if the saddle bag were to become detached, you may not realize it's missing until miles away. Maybe that's not much
of a concern. Also, did you poke holes in the body as well as the aluminum frame?
Looks like a great way to add storage to a Vanderhall.
