I had rather seen VH spend the time and money improving the Venice and Carmel line. They really should offer a hoofdfor the Venice that allows checking and adding oil without removing the hood. It should be offered at a discounted price because the current hood is a bad design.

I agree. 

VH is trying to give Polaris a run for their money. @ this rate don't think so.

Heck, I would settle for just good service across the board.
Otherwise why bother advertising new models?
Word of mouth from existing owners carry an immense weight.
I am afraid they have burned that bridge already.
