Welcome to Venice Forums
#1
Star

Welcome all!! Venice Forums is a brand new enthusiast platform that is developed and maintained by myself!

Venice Forums came into existence after I decided to purchase a Venice and noticed that the only owner/enthusiast community was a Facebook group or two. I've always been a car enthusiast, and I can't count the number of times I've relied on a forum thread to solve a problem or get information about my car. I don't think Facebook is an ideal platform to organize that sort of conversation so now here we are. Feel free to post and invite your Vanderhall owner friends!

I hope that this platform helps the Vanderhall community expand, and helps members learn more about their vehicles and make new friends with other owners.

I'm interested to hear any suggestions about this site, new categories or forums, style changes, issues/bugs, etc., and also am accepting applications for admins, PM me if you're interested.

Thanks for your efforts! You might periodically mention the existence of the forum on the Vanderhall Owners Forum (Facebook). I sure would like to see more activity on this forum. It has the makings of a great (non-Facebook) resource!

The format or FB mixed with tee shirts and other stuff, makes it very difficult to see or learn much. much nicer here!!   A lot of lookers. lol

Thank you Hubert. Much appreciated what you did here.

I couldn't agree more with your assessment. As an old salty dog, I come from the era of usenet
and later worked at CompuServe (before AOL devoured it). All places where knowledge was shared.
In those places it was pure pertinent information gleaned from top professionals to amateurs and all
in between. No fluff. No algorithm.

Nowadays I hear a lot of people complain about the social media platforms asking "where would we go?"
as if they were prisoners of that platform. There are alternative. This place is one of them.

I found this forum (by chance) when I was researching buying a Vanderhall. It made a huge difference.
Now, as I discover the joy of driving such fun roadster I too want to contribute in passing on what I learn.

(even if just to the proverbial half a dozen enthusiasts who still inhabit *this* environment.)

Well, RustyTeeth is being too kind.

As Hubert said in the beginning of this thread referring to this forum: "helps members learn more
about their vehicles and make new friends with other owners." -- what you know... I already have
found a good friend in here.

Quite unexpected in fact, since one of the hardest things in life nowadays is making new friends.
Meeting genuine people where the quality level of the discussion and dialog is just superb.
With the Internet, these people are located all over the world. We just need to find them and
connect. Who knows what may ensue.

Cheers!
Here's to good Vanderhall Owners who don't mind making friends with other Vanderhall enthusiastic
owners.
