At Facebook Vanderhall Owner's Forum, Open Roads noted knob has loctite. Suggested strap wrench or padded vice grip/channel lock and a bit of muscle. Use blue loctitie to resecure.

Haven't done it, but I'm pretty sure just the knob. Might need those padded vice grips on the stem!

If you're planning on doing this yourself, please consider taking pictures of the process and writing up a short "How To" in the Tutorials & DIY section!

I used a rubber strap wrench got it from Home Depot $9 no need to use lock tight to reinstall. J Patrick Wrote:Haven't done it, but I'm pretty sure just the knob. Might need those padded vice grips on the stem!

The heat will travel up to the threads on the shaft and release the lock tight. Be sure to use a pad on the knob when turning off as it will be hot.
