Engine check light. -

Engine check light came on today. Shut her down a restarted no light. A while later light again, cleared with a re-start. Stopped at Auto parts and they let me use their code reader, no code found. I called my dealer, he said a few owners got a light and he thinks it is a "low A/C" indication. Of course we don't have A/C, he called it a ghost fault.

You can get a scanner for $30+. Look for one that reads extended codes. Then, rather than having the scanner read the VIN, give it the VIN for a 2013 Chevy Cruze (at least for 2019 Venice). You should see many more codes (many irrelevant). Not sure of correspondence for other models. Dealer might know (that's who told me). HTH!
