Hatch to access oil filler and dipstick - Vector-BFC - 03-27-2021
Talking the hood off and getting it back on is a PITA. Maybe this would allow access to both.

The hood doesn't appear to have much stress on it so perhaps no significant weakening of the hood. Just would want to be sure the hatch was secure. Nice find!
