Rain driving? - sabbott1958 - 08-21-2022

Has anyone experienced riding in the rain? I want to go to Colorado Springs around September 1, and rain seems likely

Can't say from personal experience, but I've seen lots of comments about tendency to hydro-plane and several resulting accidents and injuries. Be careful!

I have, but not by choice. I'm one of those who complain about hydroplaning. The car would lift and drift at anything above about 45 mph...but this was a frog-growing deluge so there was plenty of standing water.
The car ran fine- I put a box fan in the passenger area the next day to dry it out. No ill effects.
