Hey Lewen77, I moved this thread to the Tuning & Engine Management forum since it didn't really belong in the vehicles for sale forum.

If the BNR tune is anything like a Cobb Accessport is for Mazda/Subaru/Ford vehicles, you "marry" the device to the vehicle, which allows it to be used only on that vehicle, and if you sell the vehicle, or want to sell the tuner, you can "unmarry" the device from the vehicle, which allows it to be remarried to another vehicle.

I've also heard really good things about the BNR tune. The transmission adjustments alone would be worth it in my opinion.

So...wondering if you got the tune and how you like it?

Also, do you know if it affects warranty?

Thanks!

I haven't gotten it yet, but I think it's the next purchase I'm going to make.

I didn't get the BNR (It wasn't available yet) I bought the Vanderhal Parts Tune. As stated the tuner Marries itself to your VIN. You can use the tune and switch back to stock. TOTALLY WORTH IT. Turns the VV into a rocket ship!

I've seen only good comments about the BNR tune, but I was told it voids the warranty on engine and transmission and the mod can be detected even if you revert the installation. Causes me some pause! Maybe the bump shift is good enough.

Just took my first ride after installing the BNR  tune. Trust me, you want this!  The vv  launches like a rocket, and the shifting is fantastic. It really brings the machine to life. The install went perfect, and took all of 5 minutes. This is the way you wanted your venice to run! Big Grin

I also got the Vanderhall Parts tune, before BNR was available. I also can't say how much it improves the performance of the motor and transmission!!!!

RE: BNR tune kit - Vector-BFC - 04-15-2020

I'd rather keep my warrantee, it is fast enough stock.

RE: BNR tune kit - Dnflty - 04-15-2020

I certainly understand why you would want to keep your warranty! With the money that you put out for these things that's always something that you have to consider. I figured with mine being an 18 there wasn't a whole lot of warranty that they were going to take care of anyway. It's so hard to get ahold of anybody at vanderhall for even the simplest thing, I could not even imagine trying to have warranty work done through them! I suppose I always figured that I would have to do most of the work myself anyhow. I thought that it was a pretty quick machine also when I first got it. But I must admit, I was completely blown away with its performance after the tune! It's all in what you're looking for. Have fun folks, that is what it is all about!
