Door Sills

Open Road is out of stock. Anyone else sell the powder coated one piece door sills?

Don’t know about that but if I wanted pc’d sills, I’d take them down to my friendly neighborhood powdercoater. Probably far cheaper and less mucking around and you wouldn’t come across the take-offs in your garage twenty years from now and wonder what the hell they are. My guy usually takes about a week. Mine were getting a bit banged up on the edges so I put some of that self-sticking car door edge guard on them and called it a day. Looks okay. Might even be a good idea on pc ones because with all the clambering about even the pc’d ones will start chipping sooner or later. Takes a beating and gives it kind of a finished look, too. May/may not be your cup of tea but it is reversible if you don’t like it. I’d send a pic but I still can’t get this site to swallow an image.

I do well getting in and out but passengers tend to step on the sill. I am thinking of pulling mine, take the "plether" off the rear pieces and spraying everything with bed liner.

What are these mysteriously rear pieces you speak of? Must be a model yr thing. I have one long piece for a sill.

My 2020 is 2 piece, metal forward, vinyl covered back.
