Engine top cover note
#3

(04-01-2022, 12:12 PM)Dannov4v Wrote:  I recently removed the hood, then took off the engine top cover to access the spark plugs. Not knowing ahead of time that the cover is mounted with 1 1/2 inch spacers underneath. Just wanted to let folks know. They are also aluminum so if you drop one they are NOT magnetic! haha.
Hope this helps.

In addition the heat shield glued to the plastic hood falls off in 25 miles. Cut a new larger piece cleaned glued and used the metal DUCT tape ironed it on. really keeps air venting properly rather than the irregular cut skin that falls down onto you engine......
