I have Carmel GTs 2022 , about 400 mile so far . I noticed the heating temp gauge goes up to 90 degree but in traffic light it can go up to 100 and when I drive it starts to go down . Is that  normal . How high it should be when you are at traffic light . I’m afraid it can keep going up and up . 
Any thoughts , I would appreciate it .

I have to assume you are talking Fahrenheit temps.  If so, it sound like you either don't have a thermostat, or it is open all the time.  It should achieve about 220 degrees F, and stay there, idle or moving.  The gauge may be bad, but temp should stay constant once warmed up.

You may have a bubble in your cooling heater system. Most gauges are set so normal is straight up and down, on mine its 85F   My of my friends that are mechanics on chevy cruze say can get a bubble in there with normal filling, they like to pull a vacuum and draw antifreeze into there and you also have the heater core to fill and purge. I have 2022 VV and it hardly ever get above 90F. I have changed filter and oil out several times already.  I have no bump shifter and no paddle shifters. that can do it also. Let us know how you make out!

Possibly I'm confused.  What temperature are you talking about?  The only temp gauge on my 2018 Venice is coolant temp (which is also the heater core fluid) which is supposed to be about 220 F.  Almost all autos run about 185 to 220 F.

Now im confused ?  lol my water temp goes to 3 oclock position at 120 F max.  never saw it close to that. He is having a bit of a swing, i had also till i did the post delivery maintenance.  Purged air and topped off antifreeze.

More confusion!  My gauge goes to 260 F at 3 o'clock.  Here's a picture of it.  I'm thinking you both have gauges reading in Centigrade.  200 F would be 93 C, 220 F would be 104 C.  If that's the case, your temps's are about right, but should not fluctuate once it warms up.

Did notice led goes yellow then red for reserve indicator to right of temp.

That reminds me when we (NASA) lost a satellite due to mixing the metric system with
inches in a major international snafu. The same goes for mixing Fahrenheit and Celsius.
Apparently Vanderhall speaks many language systems.  :-)

Mine stays steady in the +/-200F once warmed up.
