Looking to replace my shift knob. Does the knob come off or the entire stem? Best way to remove?

On 2019 Venice, knob comes off. Wasn't difficult to remove with rubber strap wrenches. I have two notes on threads: 3/8 x 16 and 10mm x 1.5. HTH!
