Short Windshield from VHP
#1

Does anybody have the short windshield from VanderhallParts.com? I'm interested in it because I want to get the windshield line out of my direct line of sight while I'm driving, but I want to know if it's auto safety glass like the factory windshield is. Is the build quality/fit/finish good?

If anybody has pictures of their VV with the short windshield, I'd love to see it!

Stock on mine. The Speedster has a shorter windshield, would that mod work? Just thinking out loud

The VHP one is polycarbonate. I had a local plastics shop make me one using a template from the OEM windshield (just shorter) for like $50.

The place I rent from puts Speedster windshields on the Venice, you can see how it looks like here.

That looks fantastic, I think that's what I'll do

I like the fact that I have a polycarbonate speedster style and it only cost me $50! It's an acquired taste! While it looks great, it definitely throws more wind in your face. Googles are a must when I use the speedster windshield.

You might find this picture interesting.  Red Venice has a normal windshield, Vanderhall in the middle has the short windshield, and the Speedster doesn't have a windshield.
