It is part number B000C846NW (or 10511) and no issues or codes on the Venice 2022.

This winter I will try to loosen the original cap and drill a matching hole for the lock.
Here is a picture of pauls link. Guess you cant use the aluminum knurled knob?  Have seen one modified

Its really not hard to get cap out of the aluminum knurled cap. They dont need nearly as much hot glue as used from factory!

10min job, with a heat gun 20 min with a blow dryer.
Platic lip centers the cap and wont allow it to submerge too much when reinstalled.

I removed the loose parts, and scuffed and epoxied the original cap as it aligned the nicest.

No longer have the cutch click action, but it works. Donot overtighten as pressure builds up and can make it a bit tight.  You will learn where it needs to go, you have alot of leverage with big knurled cap back on!

Its more the heat that loosens cap slight putty knife twist on 4 points . see pix for part numbers, posted on Faceboog and it gets deleted.

I just bought a 2022 Venice yesterday and was surprised when I tried to get gas. Same issue, the famous spinning gas cap. I have finally received the ordered lockable replacement from Stant: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B000C846NW?psc...asin_image
