Anyone know the threading on the shaft of the bump shifter? (Assuming no change between model years.) TIA

The thread on the bump shift knob is 3/8 16. I assume the thread on the shaft would be the same?

I've seen conflicting information on bump shift threads--3/8" 16 as well as 10mm 1.5. Anyone know definitively which is correct? Thanks.
