Boost gauge installation
#4

SawDust - the gauge came with 2 sets of wires attached (about 10" long).  One 3-wire set is red/white/black with a plug that matches the red/white/black daisy chain that goes to all the other gauges.  The other set is 2 wires, black/black with dashes on it, that has a plug to mate with the other daisy chain that matches it, and goes to all the gauges.  It looks like a no-brainer to just make the matching connections.  This is what I did, but the boost gauge does nothing, and upset my other gauges.  Interesting, I left the black/black plugged in but unplugged the red/white/black, and everything went back to normal.  I drive it this way.  I don't know what each wire does, but he problem only appears when I plug in the r/w/b.  Gauge doesn't work no matter how plugged in.
