Kind of PITA to take out on my Speedster. Do you have to remove your pax seat? If you think it’s bad, take it out, have it tested and if bad, you’re ready to install the new one. As always, check your connections, particularly your batt ground before you do anything. Easy thumbnail check of your system should show about 14V or so with the engine running. Mine has a huge appetite for electrons and I thought I had a problem, too, but it turns out you can’t leave these turned on w/o the engine running for very long as I think there are a lot of systems running when the ign is on and the engine isn’t (computer module, ABS, TC, etc, etc), sucking down the juice. I leave mine on the batt maintainer 24/7 until I’m ready to start and take off. Good luck and let us know what you find out.
