As usual, no instructions with VDH parts. It’s a pretty easy plug and play. Mine’s a 2019 so YMMV. Remove the steering column shroud (4 or 5 philhead screws) and on top you’ll see a flat plug matching the CC harness. Disconnect it and plug the CC harness into it, male to female, female to male. Only one way to do it. Remove two of the toggles from the dash and install the CC harness toggles from the back of the dash. Route wires properly. Good luck ascertaining function. I let my random toggle installation train me after playing with the dynamic once installed. One is on/off/cancel, one is +/-/set. The vehicle is already programmed for it. You are just spending a bunch of dough for ten bucks worth of toggles, wires and plugs to access the capability. You should have two original toggles left over when done.

Hey Everyone! This isn't a question about a CC.  My battery on my 2018 Vanderhall Venice is shot. Does anyone know what type of battery is in the VV? Or would you recommend something else? Thanks!

How did you conclude that it’s shot? Have you had it tested? A little early in the game for killing a batt on an ‘18. Kind of PITA to take out on my Speedster. Do you have to remove your pax seat? If you think it’s bad, take it out, have it tested and if bad, you’re ready to install the new one. As always, check your connections, particularly your batt ground before you do anything. Easy thumbnail check of your system should show about 14V or so with the engine running. Mine has a huge appetite for electrons and I thought I had a problem, too, but it turns out you can’t leave these turned on w/o the engine running for very long as I think there are a lot of systems running when the ign is on and the engine isn’t (computer module, ABS, TC, etc, etc), sucking down the juice. I leave mine on the batt maintainer 24/7 until I’m ready to start and take off. Good luck and let us know what you find out.
