Purchased a 2020 and now have just over 1000 miles on it. It had sat the last two weeks and the vehicle would not crank. Just a lot of lights and clicking. The battery voltage was 11.6 and it did start with a jump start. 

What kind of storage times are you guys seeing without the need for a battery tender?

I have a 2018 VV and never had a slow discharge issue, but I don't think I ever left it sit without a tender longer than about 10 days.  I usually put the tender on atfer about a week if I don't plan to drive it soon.
I did have a battery fail at 23 months (I month before warranty - by Duracell, not Vanderhall dealer - was to expire).  It just lost amperage, but would maintain 14 volts.  When bench tested it only had 145 cold cranking amps at full charge, instead of the specified 500.  I could not find a local Duracell dealer to replace it free, so I just bought a different brand myself.
