[2022VeniceGTS]

Just took delivery of my 2022 White with red interior Venice GTS and I absolutely love it. I have to laugh though at how sparse the owners manual is. Thank God for this forum otherwise I would have never discovered the lug key mounted behind the driver’s seat!  My check engine light came on the other day (it subsequently turned off after I tightened the gas cap) and when I plugged in my OBD2 scanner I discovered that my VIN isn’t recognized. I know Vanderhalls use a Chevy 1.5 Liter turbocharged engine but does anyone know the exact type and what year, make and model I should put into my OBD2 scanner to get the proper error codes? Can’t wait to put some miles on this baby.

I'm not sure if this will help or not but my 2022 Venice base model wiring harness number comes up as a 2016/17  Chevy Malibu. I would believe this would be the best way to identifiy since the engine was used in so many models. You may need to pull the hood off and look at yours to see if it's the same part number (84125407). Mine wasn't too hard to find, near the fuse box on the drivers side, white tag around the harness.
