I agree with both suggestions. I really wish that the seats tilted.

I posted a fix for "Tilting the Seat" in "Tutorials & DYI" to adjust the seat angle, and to tilt the seat up out of the way to access storage and the battery.  I would sure prefer a seat with an adjustable seat back.
For more heat, I made a couple improvements. 
First, since I ride alone 99% of the time, I made a fabric cover for the lower part of the passenger seat.  It has an elastic strap around the seat back and hooks to the dash.  It could be improved, but it helps retain the heat a lot.  It's easy to put on and off and stores easy. 
Second, I made a diverter out of ABS pipe fittings and attached it to one of the heater vents to divert heat to the foot area.  Hardest part was figuring out how to attach it without screwing something up.  I used small bungie cords.  It's not beautiful but doesn't show because it is under the above mentioned cover.
