Search gas cap, or my posts. Alot of issues in 1st 2weeks with the cap. I tried 2 they worked but didnt feel right. I also have pix if you disassembled yours. If it locks nicely its not that. But it will fail. I have the oem part numbers and sledman and few others tried diff brands. You have a code reader? Amazon has a really nice one for less than 20$ mine was on sale for 7$ i have pix of that also on here. Let me know how i can help! Its fun
