Most gauges are set so normal is straight up and down, on mine its 85F My of my friends that are mechanics on chevy cruze say can get a bubble in there with normal filling, they like to pull a vacuum and draw antifreeze into there and you also have the heater core to fill and purge. I have 2022 VV and it hardly ever get above 90F. I have changed filter and oil out several times already. I have no bump shifter and no paddle shifters. that can do it also.
