Does anybody have thoughts  on the tune between BNR and vanderhallparts.com?  Same thing?  Did Vanderhallparts re-brand?

2nd question...  Assuming I spring for the BNR tune...

Does anyone have any insight on the difference between the BNR method of delivery to flash the ECU....  HPTuners RTD (Requires Laptop) vs. Autocal V3?  The Autocal seems turnkey...  But, it's not available at the moment (I have a message into BNR to check on this.)

I've not heard of vanderhallparts.com.  That doesn't mean anything- I just haven't heard.  I have been looking over posts on BNR on the Chevy Cruze site as well as  few others- BNR apparently has been around awhile, and gets good feedback.  

I was planning to get the BNR tune for my Venice...soon-ish.  Not sure the V3 is going to be all that useful for me.  I just want to run a tune, then drive.  I don't care to log performance information or have a choice of a bunch of different tunes.  

I noticed on facebook that BNR was planning for a May delivery of the V3 (depending on how COVID plays out) and there 'might be a bit of a price increase'.  That's another reason that I'm inclined to do it sooner rather than later.  

I am also really good at procrastinating.  So...maybe I'll do nothing for awhile!  But please post if you do it- I'm interested in hearing anecdotes.

I think you are right.  BNR seems to have this stuff dialed in at this point.  Probably the best bet.

Although I do have a Vanderhall Parts Tune (BNR wasn't out yet) If I had to do it again, I would go with BNR. Absolutely nothing wrong with what I have. They just seem to have a longer track record.

Just a "heads up." I was told by a Vanderhall rep that installing such a tune voided the warranty (at least on the engine and transmission) and that the installation could be detected even if the tuning was reverted to the original. Having said that, I've seen nothing but good comments on the BRN tune, particularly as it relates to how the transmission shifts.

I am about four hours from the nearest Vanderhall service, so I consider this vehicle out of warranty already.   I have an ABS light on...I would love to have someone else fix it, but I do not see that happening.  
And with the economic situation deteriorating as it is, I question the future of small, bespoke, expensive vehicle manufacturers. 
So...I'm not concerned with voiding the warranty.  Since most of the vehicle is Chevy, I can have most of it serviced around here.  But other than the ABS light...it has been trouble-free (knock on wood, light a candle, etc.).

On other vehicles, when the ABS light is on, I have found you need to replace the wheel sensor. Plug in a code reader, and it will tell you. You can get a reader on Amazon for 12$ that plugs in under the dash that you read on your phone.

That's exactly right.  It is almost certainly a wheel sensor.  I have an OBD reader and it codes for that- but I wish it would tell me which one!!  And apparently, the rear wheel has two?
