I think for the purists, manuals will always be the way to go. The bump/paddle shifters give you the best of both worlds and are faster. To each his own I guess.... Enjoy!
Vanderhall has said they wanted to put a manual transmission in it from the beginning, but there wasn't enough interior space to fit it. With the Speedster's single seat they would have had plenty space for a manual, and room for a better drivers seat too.
