I'm looking for a source for the small black washers for the hood, and other, screws.  They are plastic - probably ABS or nylon.  My dealer only sells them in an expensive kit with a bunch of fasteners I don't need.  I removed the 4 snaps and replace them with a screw the same size as for the hood, and most body panels.  I can find neoprene, but they squish out when you tighten; and nylon which are white.  (I made my own cover which doesn't use the snaps.)

Try amazon.  I just looked and found 100 M4 x 10mm x  1mm for $5.99

I finally resorted to purchasing a variety box of 600 washers. M6 is the size that fits most screws. I have plenty now. I purchased on Amazon.
