I haven't bought a Vanderhall yet but was shopping rates and Hagerty seemed to have the best rates of everyone I've checked. Also don't forget that how you buy can drastically affect the rate (online quote vs phone quote from provider directly vs Quote from independent agent). For instance my insurance didn't insure it so they referred to their "partner" Hagerty which they quoted 1,100 yearly with their "relationship rate". I then proceeded to enter the info directly on Hagerty's site and received a 680-750 yearly depending on how I adjusted the coverage!

All this discussion about insurance rates is meaningless unless you mention what state you are in. The same company has high and low rates depending on what STATE you are purchasing it in.
I see people who got a good price from Progressive, for example, while others got ridiculously high quotes from them. Progressive doesn't even insure Vanderhalls in WA. I had them at first, but they notified me they were no longer going to insure them in WA, so don't expect to renew with them. I went to Allstate at a much better rate. Others have, or haven't had, a good quote from Allstate.
All quotes are relative to all the factors insurers use to come up with a risk for you and your vehicle: your age, accident history, credit score, driving record, vehicle, other insurance with them, .......etc. Only you will know a reasonable quote for you. It appears that from all that I have seen on this, and the FB forum, a good range for full coverage on a Vanderhall would be about $250 to $1200 per year.
Please mention your STATE when you talk about insurance prices.

I recently purchased a 2020 VV GT and I pay $62 per month through State Farm. Certain states require personal protection such as medical coverage, but in OR it’s not required on motorcycles which the VV falls under.

Insurance is weird. I have Foremost and it was $941 a year. I just visited a local Farmers Agent and they offer $471 a year same coverage and get this, the policy is underwritten by Foremost. The Formost agent promoted by Vanderhall is American Adventure Insurance.
Same underwriter massive price difference.
