Found a Harley bike inspection plate, Works great on the Vanderhall ! Found a great place to mount it.   Wont hit tire or interfere with anything.

Just bolted to factory flange that was already there.
Thx

With a new car I decided to put some screening over the radiator and oil cooler before any rocks got through the stock grille and caused any damage. I bought this on Amazon some time ago, look up automotive grille mesh. There are several sizes and a few finishes. No change in operating temperature.
Hope this helps.

Just mocked up a 9 inch tall windscreen. Want to try looking over it, instead of through it.

Did not try it yet. Rather cold in Pennsylvania.

Contacted F4, to see if they can provide one if works out.
Many street bikes have short windscreen to deflect bugs up.  My Harley street glide has a 4 inch screen.

Just experimental.....
Tested it out today, works great no flutter or vibrations. Still seeing it in my view a bit. Think may take it from 9 inches tall to 8 and flame polish the edges.  54 in PA right now.

I've seen several people mention that the hood attach bolts can be a pain to line up with the floating clip nuts.
I took off my hood and found that the forward most and aft most on each side are basically not accessible. The other two on each side you can reach in and position the clip nut while putting the bolt in.
With the hood removed I put some masking tape on the mounted clip on the car that the clip attaches to, put the hood on and lined up where the other bolts went in and attached, then marked on the tape where the clip nut needed to be, removed the hood, put some gorilla tape on the clip nut and installed it where the mark was. I installed the hood and poked through the tape so the bolt would go in easy.
I also replaced the 30mm long bolts with 20mm.
Hope this helps.

Looking to buy a  Vanderhall, thought the best place to start was on the forum.  I have a 2016 Street Glide Special but my leg is getting to a stage I won't be able to ride.  I also have a 1977 MGB which I enjoy a lot, reminds me of home.  Retired L.E.   Any pointers or what to look out for on a purchase.  Just came back from Warren Ohio and saw the Vanderhall' at the Harley shop and I am hooked

I own a 2020 Vanderhall Venice and was wondering if anyone has had an issue with acceleration especially off of the line. Apparently Del Amo Motorsports cannot figure out what the issue is. They connected it to their diagnostic computer and everything came out clear including the turbo.  The manager and technician agree that there is definitely a power loss issue.  Very frustrating!

Thanks in advance,
Alan

I was told by the local dealership tech that one thing they are seeing is after tuning (more power) firewall/engine mount area cracks are forming. Vanderhall has a "repair" but if they progress too far, he says they like to have them welded, which means that could cause another crack to appear elsewhere because the stress has to go somewhere!
Just an FYI to keep a lookout.

Good morning,
I have used other forums in the past, hope to find and also post useful information as I run across it.
I'm a retired aircraft maintenance technician so I usually do my own maintenance and in the process enjoy sharing what someone may find useful.
I am due to receive my Venice Tuesday from a dealership, can't wait to look it over and take it for a ride!
Feel free to ask any questions, I'll do my best to answer in a timely fashion.

Regards
Danno
