Forum: New Member Introductions

I'm in the middle of Illinois where taxes are high and the corn is short this year. I'm glad this forum has been started and I'm not trying to start trouble right off the bat, but why is it called Venice Forums and not Vanderhall Forums? Maybe I should put "asking for a friend."  Smile

This is a living document that will serve as the forum rules, and is subject to be continuously or abruptly updated at any time. In general, the rules boil down to: be kind, don't be gross, keep it civil.

GENERAL GUIDELINES

1.) BE COURTEOUS - Do not bash, harass, haze, disrespect, or be an outright dick to members on this forum. This especially goes for new members. Everyone starts out as a new member.
2.) NO PORN - No posting of pornography or graphic content. This includes avatars and signatures.
3.) KEEP IT LEGAL - Do not post pictures or links that depict illegal activities in your jurisdiction.
4.) USE THE SEARCH - Please search for a topic before posting a new one. This reduces duplicate content and makes organization easier and better for everyone.
5.) NO UNSOLICITED ADVERTISING - Business ads are allowed in the Vendors section by approved vendors only. Ads to buy and sell individually are allowed in the Marketplace section only. Posting unsolicited ads anywhere else will result in one warning, and then a temporary ban. Ad spamming will result in an immediate permanent ban. One exception to this rule is putting the URL to your website in your profile
6.) MALICIOUS CONTENT - Profiles containing links to suspected malicious/hijack sites, or posts containing the aforementioned materials will result in an immediate permanent ban.

MEMBERSHIP GUIDELINES

1.) NO MULTIPLE ACCOUNTS - Create only one account per user, period.
2.) VENDOR EXCEPTION - Vendors are the only exception to rule one. A separate vendor account is allowed for approved vendors.

AVATAR GUIDELINES

1.) Avatars depicting scantily clad men/women, blood, gore, or anything NSFW are strictly prohibited.
2.) Avatars depicting political affiliation or politically hot topics are generally discouraged, and may be deemed inappropriate for the forum. Best to avoid.
3.) Avatars of vendors not approved by Venice Forums are prohibited.

SIGNATURE GUIDELINES

1.) Signatures promoting vendors must meet the following guidelines:
    a. Be an approved vendor image supplied by an approved vendor.
    b. No more than two images in a signature, and images must be horizontally tiled.
    c. Must be no larger than 160px x 34px
2.) Signatures displaying porn and/or inappropriate content (NSFW) are prohibited.
3.) Signatures must not exceed 4 lines in length.
4.) Signatures may include links, but any links determined to break rules 5 or 6 of the GENERAL GUIDELINES section above will be removed. Approved vendors MAY include advertisements in signatures.

Forum: Vanderhall Owners Chat

On the highway, the wind is a little crazy, so I want to get a helmet, at least to keep my hair from going everywhere, but I want something that kind of aligns with the style of Vanderhall. I'm thinking either like a retro racing style helmet, or a half helmet. I have a hard time gauging because I come from sport bikes where pretty much a full face is all anybody wears. What are you guys wearing?

Forum: New Member Introductions

As the creator of these forums, it's only fitting for me to make the first new member introduction. My name is Will, I live in northeast Ohio, and I'm a fresh new owner of a 2018 Vanderhall Venice! Just took delivery this weekend and drove out to my mother/father in-law's house to show off.

I'm really looking forward to meeting some other owners and seeing what the community is all about.

Posting some pictures I took from my garage, but there will be more to come!

Forum: New Vendor Registration
- No Replies

This category is intended for vendor-only advertisement. If you manufacture, build, or otherwise create parts or accessories for any Vanderhall model, please contact myself or any other admin via PM, let us know what you offer along with pictures of your products. If you are approved, your account will be upgraded to a vendor account, and a forum will be created for you to post your products for sale outside the classified marketplace. Only Vendor accounts can post threads inside vendor forums, so your forum will be your own exclusive space to market your products.

Welcome all!! Venice Forums is a brand new enthusiast platform that is developed and maintained by myself!

Venice Forums came into existence after I decided to purchase a Venice and noticed that the only owner/enthusiast community was a Facebook group or two. I've always been a car enthusiast, and I can't count the number of times I've relied on a forum thread to solve a problem or get information about my car. I don't think Facebook is an ideal platform to organize that sort of conversation so now here we are. Feel free to post and invite your Vanderhall owner friends!

I hope that this platform helps the Vanderhall community expand, and helps members learn more about their vehicles and make new friends with other owners.

I'm interested to hear any suggestions about this site, new categories or forums, style changes, issues/bugs, etc., and also am accepting applications for admins, PM me if you're interested.
