Hi here from San Jose CA.
I got a Carmel Blackjack on order, hopefully it will get made before it starts raining.

Welcome to the new and improved mobile friendly Venice Forums!
For the sake of simplicity, we went with a replacement theme with mobile support. I imagine we'll run into a few issues, but everything seems to have gone relatively smoothly.
Please report any issues or suggestions to improve this theme here or in the Report a Bug forum.
Enjoy!

I am noticing that when i back up the venice i am hearing a squeaking noise from the rear wheel - anyone else have this? problem?

Selling another dash set. This one is a little different than my others.
I received some comments about some specs of dust in the finish, and a gear that the glass like clear coat would fingerprint easily. So I did the same 2 part resin finish, but then multi stage wet sanded and then used 3 different buffing compounds. The result is a semigloss finish that is flawless. Think I’ll be doing them like this from now on. Additional pictures available upon request
I am also available to do custom work. Price would be adjust based on additional cost or time.
Currently working on a Mahogany set, and a set with a blue resin inlay. Can post picture when complete!
Price is $750 + Shipping and PayPal fees.

I had loud vibration noise coming from the passenger side of Venice. Suspected the dead pedal, so took the plate off (2 bolts), stuck a few small pieces of foam on the face of the mount, reattached the plate, noise gone. Careful in reattaching the plate--the "nuts" are plastic and easy to strip (as I found out the hard way).

I would like to replace the 8 bolts holding the hood on my Venice with something easier to remove and replace. I don't think anything that involves fixed studs on the posts holding the u-nuts will work because the hood has to fit within its frame before the current bolts are threaded though the holes in the hood. I saw a posting about using something called Dzus fasteners which secure with a quarter turn. From the pictures, not clear to me that the backside (corresponding to the u-nuts) can be attached to the posts where the u-nuts are currently installed. Anyone have any experience with these or other fasteners that would permit simpler removal and attachment of the hood on the Venice? TIA.

Is there any negotiation power when buying a new Vanderhall or just pay MSRP? Thanks

I purchased a Boost Gauge for my 2018 Venice at my dealer with the intent of installing myself. It came without directions or the wiring harness that is advertised as being included. My dealer, Lynnwood, would not help. For no price would they show me where to plug it in. They would only install it themselves with an open-ended credit card. Suggested it would cost up to $400. Two other dealers were helpful on the phone but following their directions (plugging into the two gauge daisy chains - the obvious way to install) it did not work, and caused my other gauges to be erratic, and gave me a check engine light. None of the dealers seem to be sure if there is really a different harness needed. The factory won't answer emails on technical issues. I now have a $200 paper weight.
Does anyone have any suggestions?
