Hello everybody from the Detroit area I own a 2018 Vanderhall Venice really glad to see this forum started really don't like FB and the only reason I joined was to be part of the Vanderhall group. Thanks

Anyone know if service manuals for the Venice will become available?

Does anyone know the lugnut pattern you would use to search for possible wheel upgrade on the VV?

I've owned my VV for 9 months. I found the owner's manual very incomplete, inaccurate, and poorly formatted. Over the months, I have learned a few things that others may be wondering about:
1. There is a pigtail to attach a battery charger located inside the left front wheel well, forward of the shock absorber rocker, accessible without removing the hood.
2. The special socket needed for the wheel lugs is inside the storage area behind the seats, in a clip overhead.
3. Dimmer switch for the dash lights, option which I installed, does not shut off completely. BTW, directions that came with it were incorrect.
4. I added a small steel plate with double sided tape under the glove box so I could attach small items with magnets.
5. You need to carry a 4mm (5/32") allen wrench to remove the hood in an emergency.
6. Factory says bottom side of floor is flat and you can lift with a jack anywhere except under gas tank, or forward of the front seam, under radiators. Look before jacking.
7. Some confusion over the proper oil filter. Mine uses GM# 25195784 even though the label on the filter cap says a different number. Drain plug is 10mm, oil filter is 24mm.
8. Under hood, label says use DESOX1 oil. This is actually supposed to say DEXOS1. One dealer tried to sell me DEXOS2, but that's for diesel engines.
Others have probably learned many more items of interest. Please post them. Thanks.
EDIT 1/1/2020: In note 7 above the filter number is a typo. It should be 25195785. This is also AC Delco PF2263G. I have a UFI filter housing with a brown cap. The cap is marked to say to use 25195775. I found that 25195775 was replaced by 25195785. Thanks to Brummbar's post today, I discovered more info and correct this.

Greetings from western WA.

Does anybody have the short windshield from VanderhallParts.com? I'm interested in it because I want to get the windshield line out of my direct line of sight while I'm driving, but I want to know if it's auto safety glass like the factory windshield is. Is the build quality/fit/finish good?
If anybody has pictures of their VV with the short windshield, I'd love to see it!

Dealership Reviews
- POST TITLE - Should be in the format [Dealership Name] - [City], [State] (e.g. Heinen Motorsports - Osseo, MN)
- POST MESSAGE - Should include details about why your experience was good or bad. If you had a horrible experience, you don't need to mention the names of the staff you worked with, but if your experience was great, feel free to drop names of the salesperson or other staff you interacted with that made it so great
- POST TITLE - Should be the name of the vendor as it appears in the vendor section of the forums
- POST MESSAGE - Like with a dealership review, you should include details about why your experience was good or bad with the vendor, to help the next person who may want to purchase from them get a better idea for what to expect
Please try and keep the reviews G-rated and civil. This is not the place to wish death on your salesman, or organize a mob to storm a vendor's house. Foul language and/or threatening language will cause your review to be removed.

I purchased my 2018 Venice from Freedom Powersports in Hurst, TX, and had it shipped to northeast Ohio.
The dealership could not have made it any easier. The price was fantastic, and Daniel (salesman) and Kelsey(finance) were quick to respond, helpful, and got everything done that they said they would.
There was a minor blemish on the lower valence cover that was caused accidentally while they were cleaning and preparing the Venice, and Daniel got it all sorted out with a new part ordered from Vanderhall and then put directly in the mail for me within about two weeks.
I honestly couldn't have asked for a better dealer experience...and from 1200 miles away at that!
Highly recommend these guys, even if you're not in the area

Starting off with a picture from the last show I attended.
